Love it!!! But, how can you buy the sport again? Was the sport a reversal back to another rose already in commerce? If that's the case - what is its name? Love the color on it. Carol

Well HMF says 5 to 10 feet, lol! How's that for a very nebulous answer. My Austins tend to get big, and in your zone they'll probably get even bigger, so I give them lots of space or some kind of support if I want them to get tall. Decide if you want it to be a big shrub or semi tall climber and go from there.

I cannot recommend highly enough both Scepter’d Isle and St. Cecilia. They are excellent & magnificent. I go more into depth in your new thread: http://forums2.gardenweb.com/discussions/5032402/scepterd-isle-st-cecilia-the-lady-gardener The Lady Gardener is still too new for me to comment, perhaps in 2-3 more years when people’s experiences with it start filtering through. In general it takes about 3-5 years for new DA introductions to really show their mettle in the USA. Especially the very double petaled varieties require a longer maturity period, growing their roots, and gaining strength to produce quality flowers.

I have grown Austin roses since my son, now 35, was a baby. The first was Wenlock. Mr. Austin left an indelible legacy on the world of roses, bringing joy to so many. I am reminded of the end of a lovely piece written by an Englishman on the subject of death....... What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well.
