It looks very similar to my Dublin, without a sun blush. However, one thing is certain: Peace ancestry. In fact, those leaves are so distinct, it's a first generation Peace descendent, IMHO. Some work with HelpMeFind came upon Baron de Rothschild, but the form doesn't look quite right. Search for roses before 1980 at least, with Peace as a prominent descendent. Obviously a Hybrid Tea, but searching for bloom color can be tricky. There are so many choices - deep pink, pink, lighter reverse, light pink, medium pink, pink - and color descriptions were not very specific a few decades ago. You should probably assume a prominent rose (sold a lot), and a simple color description. That's why I arrived at the Baron, but I'm not sure of the form. Anyway - the reason I mentioned Dublin is that "bi-color" may not be key. Dublin is almost never described as a bi-color, and neither are many roses with a slightly lighter reverse. Lack of sun or overcast conditions may exagerrate a bi-color tendency that normally doesn't exist. The leaves are a sure tell-tale, though. Considering all those factors, it may even be Pink Peace.

trying to bring this back to life- George C. Scott starred in "Firestarter" with David Keith

Wowâ¦some really breathtaking BâÂÂs!!! Big Momma Bolero Bewitched (end of season pic taken from opposite side of a 6 ft fence) Buff Beauty Bronze Star Beaute Inconstante (new for me this year...great fragrance, healthy and living up to its name with constantly changing bloom colors) Boscobel Blossomtime

Nice fat barrel shape on the bud of 'Angel Bells'. You have some great 'City of Welland' photos at HMF. Need it! Love yellow blending into pink. And when it's behaving like a reverse. Holy mackeral. Not fair. Your Compassion is 10 times prettier than mine. Super photo. 'Dolores Hope' is looking good. My goodness. She is another by Carruth. 'Dream' looks like the RVS 1979 one? We need more picture of this one doing its frilly thing. Fabergé looks like 2 different roses at HMF. Hmm. I like yours. Love 'Favorite Dream'. Just a great looking non-quilling pink. Oops, 'Radio Times' trumps it. Spoke too soon. Gorgeous. As is 'Souvenir de Pierre Guillot', a pernetiana HT. I thought pernetianas were house eaters? The color is glorious. Talk about colors? 'Stephens' Big Purple' is a drop deader. I think this one needs to be on the short list. With 'The Endeavour'! Supposed to be near thornless. Love those colors. I keep forgetting 'Troika' aka 'Royal Dane', another beaut by Poulson. Looks quite perky in this pic. 'Truly Yours' has good form plus it's a Carruth so proably very disease resistant? Carruth again! 'Watercolors Home Run'. Darling duo. Ooo, 'White Majesty' has that gorgeous glow with the pink (?) blush. Thank you for providing me with a 2 hours journey into a haven of beauty.
