Some more things flowering

First one Evolvulus pilosus, Blue Eyes/Sapphire Blue, a good tough plant that never stops flowering.

Dark Red Frangipanni. The colour is a bit washed out looking in the photo, it is usually darker.

Apricot dwarf Oleander. Has so many flowers on it that the branches are drooping. Also needs a good trim as it is getting leggy.

Great photos GH. I particularly like the Oleander. I have never grown one but am always looking for shrubs that height which flower prolifically. Another addition to my Christmas wish list!
Pretty Frangipani, Mine hasn't flowered yet In its second year from a cutting. Is it as perfumed as the white and yellows?

A saquaro? These grow huge over many, many years, but they are also protected in AZ. The 99 cent stores here in CA carry different types of cactus. If you have one, try there.

We don't have that particular garden spider,but I think NC must be the Daddy-long-legs capital of the world,because we have tons of them! They are always sitting around on my hosta leaves,but I don't care,as they probably get bugs from the hostas! What do DLL's eat,anyway? Phil

They are a seedling from the original strain of Lorraine Sunshine heliopsis helianthoides. Some were true and had variegated leaves and some didn't. This plant has a little of both. I started them from seed a few years ago and they come back reliable being a perennial. Often the self-seed a little.

We have a 99 cent store close to my house,and it was the first one of those types of stores to come to our area several years ago.I go there before i go to the grocery store.We have a freezer section,fresh fruits and veggies and almost anything you can find in a regular grocery store,and name brands as well.There fresh fruit has been great,pints of blueberries for .99cents,as well as strawberries etc and most of it grown right here in Calif. They recently got a new bread vendor and oh what joy that is,sour dough,multi grain,and several other great brands.It's the only place we buy saltine crackers now,they are made by Harvest Table or something like that and are just as good as premium and the other. I have been going there for years and have never found any outdated stuff.Love that store!!! Kathi

Very pretty GH those blue eyes are a favourite around my area.
Your Oleander look terrific, they have them down our shopping centre car-park
And as tough as old boots seeing they manage to survive on rain water only,we dont get much of that.
I only have the white they were given to me last year by a neighbour about a dozen in a bad way.
So with a bit of TLC maybe they will flower this year, they were so leggy I may have pruned too heavy.
How wonderful that your red frangipanni is in flower mine is way behind got some buds though.
