Noticed Annies post so when I went for my usual afternoon walk I had a look at ours.

Low and behold it's in flower.

Judy has struck a few of these and they will be available at our Open Garden.

Yeah and only 3 weeks to go until open day!! I will have to get there early for hoyas and broms now. So far have $62.25 scrimped and saved from grocery shopping bills, so mine to spend. Let me loose!
    Beautiful Hoya, adore the colour.

Ian, Yours looks different to mine.
How much sun does yours get? Mine gets all the afternoon sun and I'm thinking maybe that's too much?
I thought mine looks sort of faded against yours.
Actually I thought yours look way nicer than mine.

Lovely Ian. Hoya macgillivrayi is actually a native of the Cape York Peninsula. Aren't we lucky to have such a beautiful native plant to show the world?
    Cheers,
    Dee.

I did not know it was a native, that's very interesting.
Also to Annie, we grow it in part shade, never gets full sun also my camera may be a little better than yours.

Thanks for the thought, Ian but mine really doesn't look as good as yours.
Yours looks "solid" and mine looks "fragile", for want of better words.
