The yellow iris has arrived after the blues have passed on in our garden.thanks Misty,as the roses are starting to appear I hope to seesome of your nice pics soon

That's a pretty one Chas.. I only have a light blue and a purple Iris.

I was going to put some of my spring flowering bulbs flowers on a couple of weeks ago Chas to start this forum off again though no one seems to reply to anything on here, except on the Roses Forum that is..

Seeing you are back I will put some on..

Depends if you like new frilly ruffly, do you like it mixed with some white, or do you like the older historic (tailored falls are more vertical), My favorite modern is Abbey Road which is very graceful. Another nice modern is Italian Ice. for historics Amandine is very pretty and more ruffly than most historics. Buttered Popcorn is unique in that it looks like popcorn with some butter drizzled on it.

'Dawning' (ghio'94) is nice but a warmer (?) shade of yellow. 'Well Endowed' (ghio'78) is a large-flowered, med. yellow pretty one. Listed as a rebloomer. A cheerful bright rimmer is 'Joyce Terry'. I think a good yellow is hard to find. Have heard good comments on 'Kentucky Derby'.
