French Lace and Anne Endt.

Anybody, either a regular contributor or just a casual passer-by of this page, ever grown either of these roses: French Lace and/or Anne Endt? I've recently planted both and whilst Anne Endt has flowered - a lovely deep red single flower, very similar to Rugosa scabrosa - French Lace, planted this winter, has not; the latter an ivory cream floribunda. Both seem to suffer excessively from the Black-Spot fungus, much more so than modern hybrids do. Anyone else found this? And other than an annual lime-sulphur drench in winter and bi-monthly spraying with Triphorine fungucide (excuse spelling) can anyone suggest a more reliable cure? I garden in a fairly humid coastal region, though north-easterly winds are prevalent.
