Hi Cindeea! Please do holler at me if ever you come up this way. If you love nature, this is a beautiful place to visit without the "tourist price". Today, I had a good view of the snow capped mountains of Cumberland from my front window. In a month or so, the wild forsythias and daffodils will fill out the bare grounds with their yellow flowers welcoming in spring. Then the Dogwood trees will be performing their part of the show with their white or pink flowers. Wild orange flowered lilies will fill up the sides of the highway in summer. Nothing is watered here (except for my amaryllises and roses). Mother Nature takes care of everything. Unfortunately, mapquest says that Dulles is 459.38 miles from here and it will be a 7 hours 48 min drive. Anyway, if you decide to make the trip, I would love to have you come. We'll bar-b-cue at the backyard where we can watch the finches, cardinals,blue jays, robins, wood peckers and doves. Now about Sprekelia...I received the bulbs end of May, planted them immediately and I had them bloom like maybe from late June to July. They gave out thin 1/2" thick dark green leaves first before the scape. Very nice effect and contrast to the dark red flower. I just don't know if the bulbs were pre-cooled. I will make notes on their progress this spring/summer.

Ohhh bad bad bad...I just placed an order via email and am waiting to hear from Diana as to the availability of the bulbs I ordered. Thanks, Jody I guess....;-) Donna

Here's the response that just came back: "The stocks of Thai Thai are finally coming along well. Having said that, we have not yet decided whether to offer it for 2015 or to wait one extra year for the mid- size bulbs to reach a larger size. We will make this decision next month once we can see how the growth on the bulbs is progressing." So, we won't see it for another 1-2 years. K

I too saw Mystery Maiden and thought about it but decided enough was enough. I'd let someone else buy it, flower it, and post it!! That would be you Josh...So if this year's Cherry Crush is really Opal Star, what was last year's Seductress, mine by the way didn't bloom last year so I'll have to wait a bit longer to see just what I did get. I'm hoping I get the same as Maria got....And, I looked at the Israeli Website and didn't see any doubles. I'll check again to see if I just missed the place to click, but they offer Siren on ETGB, and one that looks just like it selling on Ebay as Israeli 'Princess', and there is a double white one also, the name escapes me at the moment. I'm wondering why they seem to be having so much trouble with these names...as the flowers are very pretty...I absolutely loved Siren, a Joker look alike... Donna
