Heather that is so pretty, they are a beautiful shade of blue.
I was going to have a go at growing them last winter and I forgot.
Probably too warm anyway, but I like a challenge.
Great Pic...Cheers..MM.

The 2 colours together look great, is that a Rugosa Rose there?

Irish, you aren't making the currency conversion - 2 packets seed + shipping $32.24 US. Hope you find someone interested - I've ordered from them in the past and the seeds/customer service are great, but I sadly don't have room for more delphs right now.

Geesh flora and campanula. You both have my sympathy. Slugs are usually a problem over here, some growing to a size that someone might actually name them and put them on a leash. But this year, our area experienced a partial drought in June and most of July and I think that has curtailed their activities. I've not seen but a couple all summer. I've NEVER seen anything here that came with a shell! Some of my hosta have holes in their leaves but it was not from slugs. We had a bad storm go through here one night and the hail came down in buckets. Lots of my plants have holey leaves from that storm. Linda

If it's a sunny area, cosmos would be tall and can put on a later summer show. They might be wider than the Delphs, but I love them. Martha

How lovely that is Heather, especially with the pink rose in the background. Must say I haven't had much luck as we have too many snails also. Must try the Espresso coffee that they say knocks them off 10 parts water to one of espresso - can't be the ordinary coffee - funny to think snails have different tastes!!

that's gorgeous Heather

thanks for the reminder TriciaC!! I'd seen that hint on TV and the website, and was going to do it today once I'd planted out my Russell Lupins, but forgot...those damn snails better not eat them overnight!!! (and no, I'm not going out there at night...can't see where I planted them, and knowing my luck, I'd probably step right on them and squish them...the lupins that is, not the snails lol)

Glad you won the race with the snail Heather, a lovely combo with the rugosa.
