Roses, Brass Band, Peacekeeper, Madam Butterfly

Three lovely roses out today. Isn't it amazing, yesterday they were buds today they are fully open. Brass Band, which has a lovely buttery reverse

Madam Butterfly, my mother's favourite, still such a beautiful perfume and so delicate to look at.

Finally Peacekeeper, a floribunda always packed with flowers.

The brass Band is music to my ears,Madam Butterfly looks very delicate and Peacekeeper Flowers are borne en masse and retain interest even at the fully open stage.

I would be the double delight. Double Delight, a hybrid tea rose with a long season of bloom, The double blossoms have a rich, creamy white to pale pink center with deep, ruby edging. They have a bushy habit, growing to about 4-5 feet with a 2-3 foot spread. Double Delight shows good disease resistance, although less so in wet weather, which also does in the blossoms. Expect a sweet, spicy scent. Here is a link that might be useful: http://www.bigleagueplayersclub.com/3clicks/published/9907/16436/
