These were taken late one afternoon a couple of weeks ago.

This is Tibouchina Alstonville

This is Bouganvillea Smarty Pants. The plant is still only small but never seems to stop flowering.

I forgot to add a thank you to MM about photobucket, etc. I worked out how to put photos on the forum as you can see. Without your help I don't think I would have been able to work it out.

At least since I changed to firefox for browsing I can view this forum again. I missed looking at the pictures.

Thanks again MM and thanks to everyone for showing your beautiful flowers and gardens.

That looks fantastic the colours are beautifuly bright,you are a good student and have learned fast,keep it up it is a lot of fun.

remodelfla-thanks for the timely posting on this topic as lighting was next on our list. I intend to call Juno tech myself just to make sure I'm ordering the correct housings and trims. needsometips08-thanks for the info-my kitchen has lots of earthy colors so I guess the wheat will be a good choice. Today, when we were at the lighting store and actually got to see all the different Juno cans we definitely decided on the wheat. That interior color is a very soft, wheat like/pale gold color-it's really pretty. Also it was nice to see the 5" and the 6" mounted up next to each other. For us, it's the 5" even though it is a bit more expensive. What we can't get over is the HUGE price difference between ordering online or with the lighting store. If we order from laner.com we will save $300+ over the price quoted to us from the lighting store. That's a BIG difference. I would have liked to have been able to give the local company my business but not for that much of a price difference. This forum provides so much helpful info. I feel less stressed out!

I am running windows 7 and I have absolutely no problem loading photos on a CD The first step is to load the photos on the computer and save them in "My Pictures" There are numerous ways to load the photos on the computer but I find the simplest way is to pull the memory card out of the camera and insert it in the card reader on the computer. When the window drops down I just hit "copy to computer" Another box will drop down and ask you to input a file name. Input a file name and it will automatically upload all the photos and put them in that file in "My Pictures" Once you have the photos in "My Pictures" insert a blank CD in the drive and a box will come down asking what you want to do with the CD. Hit the box to open a "Data Disc" You then open "my Pictures" and find the file. If you put your cursor on the file, then right click a box will open and your can select "send to" then select the device address for your CD player and it will load the entire file on the CD. If you do not want to put the entire file on the CD open the file and individually select the photos you want, and hit the "send To" then the CD address. I shoot an average of 500 photos a day and after editing I generally put about 150 of those on CD. It takes me about 15 minutes to individually select and load 150 photos. After you are done loading the photos on the CD hit "Start" then hit "Computer" and locate the icon for your CD drive. Put your cursor on the CD drive icon and right click. A box will drop down and you select "Close the Session", another box will drop down and ask you how you want to close it. Select "As A Flash Drive". It will close the CD but leave it open so you can add more photos later or use that CD in other computers.

I agree and so does DH, the shed looks best. Thanks to robo for the mock up! Eld6161, my boys' room has one small porthole-style octogon window. I think it's because my second floor probably originally had only two very large bedrooms upstairs. At some point, a previous owner added a wall between one if the rooms to make a third bedroom upstairs. As a result my DD's room on the back dormer has two big windows and no windows in the front room which is the boys.

Sounds like a great home, but, we need photos. Without photos, my suggestion would be to match the metal roof in color for paintable areas. This color, from B.M., is Gray Cashmere. (It is my suggestion, and not identified in photo). I love it interior or exterior because it acts as a chameleon...

Great pic of the Tibouchina A. I have a couple, they are not really doing well here.
Now that is one Bougainvillea I do not have, but dont they look a beautiful sight at present
So many different colours. I like the two pics you put on the other Forum as well.

Wow must be very different flowering times for tibouchina between bris and further north. Mine flowers from autumn and over winter. I have jules as well which flowers a little later but never Alstonville.

HJ, for some reason my tibouchinas (I have 2) have never stopped flowering since they were planted about 5 years ago. They have just about finished their main flowering now but always have a few flowers popping out. They seem to love it where they are planted.

Greencroc, tell the wife that smarty pants doesn't grow like the others. We have them planted along the sides of the carport where we walk past all the time. They are an upright grower, not sprawly and only reach 2m maybe a little bit taller in the right conditions.
