My hypericum henryi is coming into flower. It's a bush about a metre and a half tall by a metre wide, and is magnificent in full bloom. Just thought I paste a photo for whoever happens to wander by this gallery.
Oh, ok, at the moment I haven't got a photo of the whole bush and it's now dark outside. What about if I wait until it's in full bloom? Yeah, I'll do it then. Should be no more than a week or so. Regards B
Hypericum is not my favourite plant but your photo of it is superb--those stamens look spectacular! I meant to leave only a comment but the window is giving me an option to post a photo, and I can't pass up the chance to do so. Even though the plant is *completely* unrelated to the hypericum, not even the same colour LOL Here it is anyway, a native hibiscus called 'Barambah Creek'. One of the few (that I have anyway) without prickly stems and leaves; in fact, the leaves are soft and downy.
