go to the AQIS site and check what they say, i have heard SA has some stringent rules on bringing in plant material from anywhere. if nothing else you will be fore warned and fore armed, and can calculate the risk factor of you being caught, but there is always a bit of ned kelly in all of us so the best protection they can mount can always be circumvented hey chuckle? len Here is a link that might be useful: len's garden page

I wouldn't. But if you could see yourself opening a window and tossing a fifty dollar bill out into the wind - and shrugging your shoulders when it disappears from view, then why not. Reviews on this company and their plants are consistently bad, bad, bad. Oh, I just love how they tell you that this rose is hardy from "zones 3-10." Yeah, sure. They don't even have a real photo of it (photo-shopped or not) but rather a very old fashioned drawing - what's up with that? I'm sorry, but their whole catalog smacks of hype, deceit and lack of true plant knowledge. Wouldn't you be better off contacting Roses Unlimited and seeing if they would propagate one for you? I know it is not currently on their catalog list, but HMF says they do have it.
