Hi al. I will post some new photos next week of some more "seedlings" blooming. I thought you all would like to see my trusty garden helper, Master lizard hunter! Willie my 4year old mini dauschund. The second photo is the rebloom of my wifes flower, Hippeastrum "Sandies Salmon". The third photo is it planted in my yard with a third flower spike emerging on the right. And the last photo is the third rebloom of my Papilio hybrid "red hot cinders". It seems like the flowers have gotten much better the third time. Take care!! Orchidboy

Mark. If I lived in your zone and wanted to keep them in a pot and not planted in the ground, I would lift the whole root-ball out of that plastic pot and buy a larger heavy clay pot where they could stay for several more years before you had to disturbe then again.. I wouldn't touch the roots, but would make sure I had a very granular, quickly draining soil and re-pot and enjoy the show for the next few years..at that time maybe you could seperate them, but for the time being I'd just re-pot the whole thing. Why is it that you don't want to plant directly in the ground in your neck of the woods? This is all just my opinion of course.... Donna

Josh, Me thinks you should name such a beauty...a name tends to stick in our heads (mine anyway)for future reference..and it definitely is a beauty and you should be very proud...it will be interesting to see if it sets offsets readily like papilio..it that also a trait of brasilianum?...;-) Donna
