Lysophylum Hookeri

Just had to post this one: I spotted this small native (Aussie native) tree in a nursery back in 2008. This is it's third spot (I'm a habitual plant mover) - and its first flower. It's a native bauhinia; grows in the western districts of Queensland, and is very rarely available in nurseries despite its natural beauty as a small - no more than 5 metres in its natural habitat - tree. I'm also a habitual nursery hunter, over 45 years of nursery browsing this is the first one I've ever spotted for sale as a potted specimen

Very nice Funnel., the red stamens contrast nicely with the white petals. I bet it's a nice looking tree.

Saw this on my" tablet" but not savvy enough to be able to save it, as I did now.

Errr, Inga, forgive me for answering my own post, I know it looks as if I'm going a bit cookoo but I did it so as to move it down the list, seems otherwise, they just stay at the top.
