I'm sorry to hear about the loss of the little one. For future reference, chilled kids should be warmed up to an internal body temperature of at least 100 degrees (normal is 101-103 degrees). You can do this by putting them in a bag & submersing them in warm water while holding their head out of the water, or warming up towels in the dryer & placing the goat on the towels, or using a hair dryer being careful not to burn them (careful of dehydration). After the internal temperature is over 100 degrees, a quick energy boost will help them-molasses or corn syrup on thier tongue works wonders. Gives them quick energy for rapid recovery from being chilled. Afterwards colostrum (bottled or tubed as stated). The most important thing is to not feed a chilled kid as milk/colustrum only sits in the gut-they cannot digest milks with such a low temperature because their body went into "survival" mode. What may have happened is the tree may have gone unwatered for a long period of time, maybe neglect for 2 or 3 years. That can kill back parts of the tree, and it may never be able to fully recover again. If that is the case, the best thing you can do is try to give it proper care now. Make sure you keep it watered during the summer. Can you tell us where this tree is?

Even though it is in indirect sunlight draceneas are low light plants. does the pot have drainage holes? Get a wooden skewer sharpen it with a pencil sharpener and insert it into the pot to the bottom for a few seconds. If it is wet let it dry out until the skewer comes out clean. Have you checked the roots? Could be salt build up due to watering or the soil. I would not put it outside.

Is your plant still alive? If so, treat them like tropical succulents. Like Hoyas & rhipsalis. So they need a very quick draining soil that dries out fast but they need watered often & like lots of humidity. They also like lots of bright indirect light. search for 5-1-1 mix on this website, that is the perfect “soil” for these. If you think your plant will hold out to be repotted in late spring, I’d wait till then. It’ll have the most amt. of energy & will bounce back from the repot more quickly. If you don’t want to make your own soil, I’ve seen an orchid mix at Lowe’s that looks similar to 5-1-1, it’s called Better Grow Orchid mix.
