I'm sure they'll be fine. I'm growing some seedlings in zone 8 and they didn't seem to have a problem. They're pretty tough. I'm wondering what constitutes a really good deal. I wouldn't pay much for them considering how incredibly easy they are to start and grow from seed.

I think I found the answer. GojiTrees.com replies on my question: "The Goji used for leaves are mainly Lycium Chinense that grows in southern China. Leaves of Lycium barbarm are also edible. Actually there is a newly developed cultivar that is mainly used to produce leaves (it is a non-fruiting plant developed by crossing lycium barbarm, and a wild Goji variety). The leaves can be used to make tea , eaten raw or cooked as salad. Goji can grow in GA, but it prefers to light soil, and dry condition. You can grow a couple of them to experiment, but generally GA is not the best place to grow Goji commercially." Way to go!!! Cheer!!!

This is my first attempt actually I also plan on growing the Lycium Chinense also, it is in the same family. I was doing some reading and some suggest the best time to plant the seeds is in autumn. So with that said I am going to sow the seeds and hope for the best!!

"acai" is the fruit of a palm tree, the cabbage palm. Goji berry is "Goji berry". It loves England, soi it's ghances for Phoenix are slim. It's a high-humidity plant.
