I looked up Flindersia australis and it does resemble what is in your photos. And its distribution also matches. This is the description I found: "Description Crows ash is a tall dense rainforest tree. The leaves have 3 - 13 elliptical leaflets, and are glossy green with paler underside. It produces panicles of cream white flowers in spring and summer. The fruit are woody capsules with short prickles."

I'd love to try growing one from seed to test its hardiness in my zone. I have Texas betony, rue, and four nerve daisy seeds I could trade for it.

I did see the seeds for this tree online, just in case you are still wanting to grow it. I do try to find seeds here first also, but if I hit a dead end, I do look online, and have obtained many that way. It' a beautiful tree, which I wish was hardy in my zone.

Hi Chardy,

Diploglottis berniana,
Deplanchea (tetraphylla).
Mis(ch)ocarpus grandissimus
Franscisodendron laurifloia (Franciscodendron laurifolium)

As Grant mentioned yes Yuruga however Deplanchea and D. berniana are often available from specialist nurseries down south. Franciscodendron is rarely available.
All these species can be grown in moist areas in QLD.

Good luck

Why stop there!
