As a consumer... In PA I used to be able to buy pick-your-own rhubarb for $5 for a full paper grocery sack. (Honor system/road side) It was widely available where I lived at the time. Since moving south a few years ago, I can't find the stuff for sale and would pay nearly any price at the market if I could find it. Well...nearly any price--my grocery had it in the winter for 12.99/lb and I laughed and walked on by. The one time I have seen it down here since it was $4/lb but slimy looking, I passed that by too, although the price was right. Good luck! :)

Thanks for the reply, brandon7. A 3-foot-section sprouted and we trimmed all but three, which all then grew into trees. We could do anything from small traditional cuttings to trying to replant the large intact tree if it could last til spring (another snow storm on the way tomorrow). Whatever would produce the most catkins next year and into the future.

So its likely hand made not machine made which can increase its value. The deal is any rug that size for $125 is a good deal. If you're buying it as an investment to resale for a profit you will likely get your money back if it turns out it isnt worth much. If you buy it have it appraised and find out its worth a lot then you can resale it for its worth with an appraisal certificate. If you're buying it because you love it then good for you , you got a large rug for a excellent price.

It's Waterfall from the 1930's or 1940's. I have a Waterfall bedroom set. I am repurposing the vanity into night stands to flank the bed and reusing the armoire and dresser for my remodel. I had to get rid of the bed awhile ago as it's a double. If you want to sell it, the best way is to advertise on craigslist. You can do a search for Art Deco or Waterfall and see what the pricing is. It makes more sense to see if a friend can use it or donate it to a charity. I gave away loads of furniture because the amount paid for used furniture that is no longer in style is quite low. Very few buyers and lots of stuff available. That a duplicate appeared in a movie scene adds no value to it. If it actually was a prop on the movie AND you have papers to prove the provenance, it would add value.
