Just thought I'd chuck this one in, it's 'Germain Ivy', in some areas regarded as a weed, but so far here it's not been too uncontrolable - I've had it in a season or two. It's growing on an archway in the lower part of the garden looking towards the house.

Nice blooms for a weed, does the name suggest an odor?

Yes, I guess it's supposed to but I can't say I've ever noticed. I'll go take a closer sniff and let you know.

Delairea odorata (formerly Senecio mikanioides) aka German Ivy but not remotely related to Heder helix ie 'English' Ivy You could root the leaves of the African Violet and get new plants.

not sure it looks like a tree to me .... im hedging toward some version of Solanaceae or nightshade ... but thats just a guess ... how about a location ... ken

Common or English ivy (Hedera helix) and Irish ivy (H. hibernica) - the common, weedy "English" ivy of my area - flower also. It's just that these plants have a creeping, vegetative life stage followed eventually by a shrubby, flowering and fruiting mature condition. So you won't be seeing carpets of ivy in flower unless the shrubby growth has started to develop in the same plantings or colonies as well.
