Cassie and Hibertia.
Ok, this is Cassia 'Paluma Range', a not-common variety in cultivation; it's a native of the Paluma Range in far north Qld. One of a number called 'Golden Rain' tree'. I've had it in for about 7 years and, with a little training, proving to be lovely tree. It's yet to reach its full flowering potential. Seems tidier though than other cassias. The other is an hibertia, also a native - H. longifolia. I think it's the best, the brightest and the largest flower of the hiberitia family. Unsure of its origins, I picked it up a few years ago from a natives' nursery just south of Brisbane. Haven't seen it for sale since.
