No. There is no difference at all. But do incorporate a bit of bulb food, not bonemeal; to your soil at the time of planting. Mix it in well with the soil before planting. Bonemeal tends to attract critters who can dig up the garden. Don't go wild; follow the directions on your food packaging. Then, when the bulbs start to flower, add a bit more to sustain and nourish the bulb; and once again at the end of the flowering season. This encourages a healthy, plump, and well-fed bulb for next year's flowering.

Those are summer flowering bulbs that typically get planted in spring....although sometimes you will see lily bubs available for fall planting. Spring flowering bulbs that get planted now include daffs or narcissus, tulips, crocus, hyacinths and a whole host of what they call 'lesser bulbs' - smaller and equally attractive but less well known bulbs. It is pretty late in the season to try mail order but nurseries in my area still have lots of bulbs on offer for planting now.
