Tibuchina mutabilis

This was another that flowered a few weeks ago. I thought it one of the prettiest tibuchinas yet produced. I think it's been tagged T. M. 'harlequin'. On the leaf below the flower is a spider, not easy to see.

Sorry, that was not 'Harliquin', it was T. 'Chameleon'. This one is a pure white variety, except for the stamens. Newly planted this last spring and growing well.

    Chameleon, suggests it changes colour.?
So far I have only seen the blue/purple blooms.
I shall enlarge the photo, may be I will see the spider.

As long as no snakes are there., although most people inform you if they have one int he photo.

Yes, inga, it changes as it ages to a deeper pink. Errr, no, no snakes there.

I've got several T. Jazzie (usual purple) but then I found at Bunnings one called Peace Baby (who names these things?). Judging by the photo, it's pure white with purple stamens. It hasn't been in long and I can't wait for it to flower for me.

Sure. Was checking it today and there didn't appear to be any buds in sight yet but it wasn't dying either so I still have hope!!
