After another look at the picture, I'm thinking it could be a Gaillardia.

Well its the inside of something Iam thinking Sunflower too.

Dee is right, it's a waterlily, probably the fairly common blue one usually known as Nymphea capensis. The stamens are a giveaway.

We have a winner! Your turn Dee. It was the blue waterlily. It was hard to decide which flower to choose that wasn't too hard but not too easy. Sorry MM, I should have started a new thread.
