Succulent Identification

I am a newby to this forum, so please forgive my ignorance!

I have a cacti/succulent I wish to identify. From my limited research I think it may be a member of the "Stapelia" family.

I was hoping to insert a photo to allow identification, but it would appear that that is not possible on this forum.

I reside in Queensland, Australia and look forward to any comments that would point me towards a forum that would assist me with identification.

Looks like a plumeria seedling/cutting, but i could be wrong. The new leaves mean its waking up from dormancy at this time of year(deciduous succulent tree). http://wallysurf.com/images/Miscpics/DSCF0988.JPG
