Wow! At least we have some houses on each side to help break it up a bit,I couldn't imagine if they weren't there! You poor thing,you are a sitting duck with all that open space around you! It would also have helped if my neighbors weren't so anti tree! They took out every single tree on their property,and our yard sits higher than theirs,so we get the full brunt of it when the winds pick up! Hopefully this summer will be calmer than our spring,but I doubt it...lol...Our normal winds are similar to yours ,but thankfully we don't have to worry about the dry lightning,that would be scary! I agree,nothing more unsightly than a collapsed plant laying all over the others! I never tried it before,but can I pinch my Cosmos to make them grow more compact? And at what age is it safe to pinch the Hollyhock? I think I will follow your lead on that one! :)

She see her reflection in the windows and thinks it is another female intruding in her territory. You can try to eliminate the reflection in the windows.

Incredibly fun - even on a small hill. I even went down twice. The kids would have kept doing it all afternoon, but we didn't have a water supply. We trekked water over in our wagons and buckets so when it ran out, we refilled once more. Each kid got about 10 or 15 turns. Also, I just bought the cheap poly sheeting and it was pretty torn up by the end, so it would be worth it to do the more expensive heavy duty poly. Sorry no pics, but I would highly recommend.

Hello everyone below is a list of plants that i have found the wallabies DO NOT EAT & some they do. I am only a novice gardener so I will do my best with the names of the plants however I can assure you that they have not so far over the past year, eaten any of these plants out of my garden, so far. I hope this is helpful to somebody. They have not eaten: Jade plant Cactus of any sort WITH hard spines on them, soft spines they do. Yesterday, today & tomorrow Yukkas Flap Jacks Curry Tree & curry plant, they eat the curry plant when small not when large. Choc mint, mint, parsley ( They love Dill so protect at all times) Basil of any variety Parsley, garlic, garlic chives & chives when established, but will eat them when plants are small & not yet established,so protect when small Cos lettuce they have left alone Parlour palms in my green house they leave alone Gerbras Bromeliads Cycads Oleanders Stag Horns & Elk Horns, mine are in a position they can reach Citronella Geranium, any other geranium they love & cannot get enough of it will be ALL TOTALLY gone in one feed, so protect it form them. Basically they have eaten every annual flower I have put in so don't bother unless you can protect them, save your money Pink Poinsettia they have attacked not sure about the red or white I hope this helps in some way to somebody "Good gardening everyone" Cheers Shaz
