The blooms seem to be on the small side.
I'm always coming to this site, as the Australian "flora and fauna" is so different.

A bit on the small side, inga007! The central flower about a centremetre and a half in diameter - the intense blue mindblowingly eyecatching. And it is a native of Brazil! There is a comprehensive (Google) site worth visiting, just type in 'Petrea volubilis'. Unfortunately, no; no fragrance.

Thats a delightful creeper/vine though I dont grow it myself though there is plenty around this area.
I did not know Neilson's Native Nursery was open, I thought they closed down when we had that 7 years of drought
I live across the other side of the M1 from there it used to be a pleasant place to just walk around and look.

Hi Misty. No, I visited Neilsens about 2 months ago and they were open and thriving. I useto often go there when we visited my sister-in-law at Cornubia, but she's moved now down this way (Banora Point, Tweed heads). It's just on an hour's drive from me and I try to get up there 2 or 3 times a year. I also try to get to a few of my favourite nurseries in Sydney when we go down to visit the kids. One in particular, the garden shop at the Sydney Royal Bot. Gardens, is always a must.
