#2 sure looks like tricocereus pachanoi. Correct cultural conditions might cause it to become more symmetrical in time. Or you could slice off the top few inches and reroot the cutting. That is easy to do. Its color looks good in any case and it looks like it is growing. #1 is a cereus too I believe, but not one I know the exact name of.

I've only seen pictures of the conos all grown up and I really like the way they look. But the seeds are literally easily mistakable for dust. Smaller than tobacco seeds. I got 15 and just tipped the bag over and flicked it to get all of them out onto the soil mix

I have a handful of Trichocereus bridgesii x T.pachanoi cuttings and the "stumps" they came off, pretty narrow and from 4"-8" long. They are in ok shape, but with a little TLC they should look great in a month or 2. I prefer to trade cuttings/plants for cuttings/plants, but i would trade for seeds if its something really neat/rare. I still have mines in a cold room, but not sure when to bring them into a warmer sunnier room. I have been keeping mine at below 50 degrees for weeks now. It is not spring here until march 21st, God, it seems so long away from now. When does your spring start? Is it March 1 ? I am with you.
