sorry to hear that GG, Ill be thinking of her in my prayers. Please keep us posted. Denise, I wish I did live near you. It looks like a great show! Let us know how it went. Did you come home with anything new and interesting?

Deva, whisper in his ear, "in Oooomahaaa there's a Caaabelllaaa's..." or whatever he likes to do- College World Series, Henry Doorly Zoo, Lauritzen Gardens... or even... well... the T*sticle Festival at the Round The Bend Steakhouse is the same weekend! (I never know if maybe making noises with my hand in my armpit when I announce that crazy festival is fitting, but anyway, it is a popular thing around here.) Okay, sorry about the momentary crude humor. You can convince him though, I bet.

This weekend in Sunnyvale: http://www.csssj.org

Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you all like the photos. I tried to get names included today where possible. Most of these folks with these entries all have rather large greenhouses that they heat through the winter to keep these collections in. I can't even think about beginning to collect Euphorbias. The few I have will serve and give me options for entering in future shows. I couldn't help but pick up another 3 plants today. (Smirks). The True Socotranum was gone already. I didn't know that this particular vendor gives our club members a 20% discount which would put the plant in my range. The nursery is about 55 miles from home so I could still make a trip there and find another this summer, perhaps even have the opportunity to select from a few different choices and still use my discount.
