With the kaffra plum tree loaded with plums and in fullbloom

the annual beefest is on.Our dog can't work out where the loud droning noise is coming from, gives up and goes back to sleep.I don't know where the hives are. but there are hundreds of bees coming and going until dusk.

    You would get lots of honey if you could follow the bees, but then they can fly a long way.
    Do you get the plums or the birds beat you.

    The birds and possums are having a ball!!We were going to tryto make some Jam or a pie , but havn't got that far. I remember some time ago seeing recipes for both and will look them up again. we had good rain and the plants are showing the benefit already.It's amazing what a good drop does as against normal watering
