Your work is beautiful. I came across it while researching a painted vase found in my Grandmother's storage...Victorian-looking with a Lily ID on the bottom and looks like it says, Henrik Painted. Interesting as my grandson"s name is Henrik. can you help me identify it ? It sits on a small pedestal, then rises to a rounded shape, small neck like for a bud vase. Has tiny handles. background is soft green with pink roses, cobalt blue and gold trim.

Hiya Jackie-a gorgeous vase of roses for sure. There is nothing like growing your own and filling the house with rosey colours and perfumes. Blackspot is an ongoing problem but like most other rose pests/diseases it goes in cycles so it will eventually go away for a while.Like you say-it doesn't stop those beautiful blooms from forming and enchanting us-and that is the main joy. regards sandie
