Ron, I live in Los Angeles and purchased this plant from the prior president of the Cacti club I belong to. He had a private sale open to club members only earlier in the year. I do not know what part of California you are in. It is kind of a shame, the Fullerton Arboretum just had a sale the first week of December and the same gentleman had 3-4 small Helenae for sale. You got me on that one, Patrick..........It was much more yellow at one point, though. You know what they say, sometimes you just have to wait to see what the flowers look like. Spent a whopping $6 on it, it's a keeper, though.

The succulent division was at least half my plants. ...and I made about 2/3 of the pots.

Hi Bear, Well i heard there was a small NY group but so small i think they disolved? Not sure but my guess is since the perfect weather here in California for growing Jungle Cacti outside theres just more growers in dense consentrations here making a Epiphyllum club(s) more doable, they even have membership ups and downs too as many have regretfully passed on lately. Jungle cacti are really worldwide and growers are spread out far and wide so a online forum tends to bring everyone together the best. If you ever hear of any other clubs that are created east coast or anywhere please let me know since i can post it to the forum to help other growers nearby that location find each other. It would be great if you could join us at Epi Cacti forums though! Yes trading is encouraged there to further cultivation as no-one has them all not even me with a humoungous collection.
