Kalanchoe tomentosa is a green-grey or bluish-grey fuzzy leaf, compared to eriophylla's white-grey fuzzy leaf. The tips of tomentosa are most times edged at the tips (top portion) with a darker color (either brown or black), whereas, eriophylla has none or just a bit at its tips. K. tomenosa can have a scalloped look at its leaf end, whereas eriophylla comes to a point. The blooms of K. tomentosa are a darker purpley color & the outside of the petals are fuzzy. K. eriophylla has pink blooms ~the calyx are fuzzy, but not the petals (I'm pretty sure--haven't seen blooms for a while on that one recently). Hope this helps!

Thank you so much. I have been searching the internet for more information, all to no avail. I water this maybe once a week, sometimes twice. I live in the tropics and it's around 30C in the shade. It gets very dry out here, however I watered this plant and then soon after it started raining, and it's been raining and grey the last few days, so that would explain it. Thank you so much for your reply. I will take it inside and hold off the watering for a week or two.

There is still life there :) But possibly some dead and/or rotting stems. It was overwatered as you realized. Your soil looks dark (wet soil looks like that) and quite organic = it will keep wet for too long. If nothing else, get a bag of perlite, sift or rinse it and use it generously mixed with C&S soil. At least 50% of total volume (could be eve more) of perlite. Take plant out, get rid of old soil. Any damaged stems and roots (dry or rotted and broken) should be cut off with sharp knife/blade. Keep healthy leaves, they could grow into new plants. Let cuttings callus for a day or two and prepare new mix. Use pot with drainage holes. Many ppl prefer terracotta, but plastic is just fine. Pot callused cuttings into new mix. Do not water until roots start growing - that is when new growth starts to be visible. Keep out of strong sunlight for about a week or so, and start moving into stronger sunlight every few days. It should do well in good sunlight as long as it is acclimatized to it. Lay leaves on top of the mix. Some may start growing roots and plantlets. Treat them same as cutting (could be all in same pot). These plants (and many other succulents too) will grow air roots - np. Leave them, or cut off if they bother you.

Mine is pretty slow. Winter dormant. That Senecio is a very aggressive grower--maybe give it a pot of its own. Tall pot, let it drape down the sides.
