looks like Echinopsis_calochlora ,which is a persistant one for off setting as I posted in the US cacti forum ,remove the pups and place on a well draining mix with a covering of sharp sand and you will have many to trade with ,as I do.I usually remove all the pups as they get to a decent size and pot them up for trade.

do you know what would happen if i were to leave them there???????? will the plant still get bigger? including the babies. its just so marvelous to have one cacti with a ring of perfect babies, i know id feel guilty if i were to seperate them. but if u think its the best option........
help, im sure u can tell i get emotional attachment to my friends (i mean plants)

they seem to go through cycles of pupping
if you remove them they will make more later
its the easiest way to get more plants

I think i read that they pup till a certain age or size and then slow before continuing to grow
anyway ive seen quite large echinopsis that are still pupping every year and still growing.

If you have spare pups id be very interested in purchasing or trading for something else as mine are mostly clones and seed set is low- id love to get more - actually even pollen swaps would be great
