I am looking for any species of pereskiopsis for grafting, cuttings or plants within Australia.

well pereskia would also be good, Ive heard pereskiopsis are the best stock to use for seedling grafting. Ive included a link to a page describing it.

Obviously I can't help you with the plants, but can I confirm whether you are really looking for Pereskia the shrubby plant with large flowers that hardly looks like a cactus? Or perhaps looking for Pereskiopsis, the grafting stock for seedlings?

Although well overpriced, you could buy a couple of them on ebay (I saw several listed), let them root (they root very quickly), and then cut them in half and root them again. They propagate very quickly in this manner.

I just pruned my Pereskiopsis and trashed the cuttings. But I have many more (dormant now) and can send you some cuttings for postage. Jordi

Me too, I have been after them for a while now in Oz. The few that do have it are using it. I can get some from germany but 50/50 chance of it getting through customs. If someone has some please let us know. I also want to graft seedlings. I have Lophies grafted onto myrtilo and tricho's but I want to see the gr8 results of grafting seedlings onto Pereskiopsis Velutina. The results are supposed to be amazing. Cheers, Adrian
