Identification of tomato plants

A gentleman from N.Z. was kind enough to send me some seeds last fall,I have missplaced his adress. So can anyone help me with information on the following tomato varities.moneymaker,grosse lisse,and russian red. Big,small derterminate,red pink or any info

. would help thank you

Hi Cipollaz,

Hope the following helps:

Moneymaker:
Indeterminate. Round red fruits in enormous clusters. Early/fast-ripening, will produce fruit within 4 months of sowing the seed. Vigorous plant better adapted to humid conditions than some. Flavor is good, medium sweetness.

Grosse Lisse:
Indeterminate. Heavy yield of large (200 grams+), round red fruit. Mid to late season. Vigorous, adapted to humid areas. Moderate sweetness, low to moderate acidity.

Russian Red:
Late-maturing, approx. 75 days. The fruits are red, small, and juicy with a great flavor. Will grow in marginal conditions (very hardy), is a tree-type plant and reaches about five feet high.

IMO it's either fusarium or verticillium wilt. Fairly common and most of us have had it. The bad news is that yes, it does move fairly quickly up the plant. You might be able to stop it by removing the affected foilage and spraying with a fungicide like Daconil. Sometimes it stops and sometimes it doesn't. If you can save most of the plant, the tomatoes should be ok. Like you said, they don't appear to be affected. The little tomatoes that don't appear to be growing is just normal, the plant sometimes aborts them with or without wilt. Not every blossom becomes a tomato.

If you don't remove the infected foliage from the plant and dispose of it away from the garden the fungus just continues to spread even with fungicide treatment. So the first rule of thumb is to never leave damaged foliage such as that on the plant. Then use your fungicide sprays. Dave

Hello Everyone, I have an early girl tomato plant that started to flower and set fruit but at the same time started to have this odd spotting on the leaves. Doesn't look like early blight nor does it look like a tomato mold issue. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
