I think you are talking about the preferences page. I haven't had your exact problem, but earlier in 2011 I stopped receiving emails sent to me from this site. And the box is checked and always has been! I contacted GW about this, but they did nothing. So my email address is specified on the member page.

I believe you have to go to the Member Services page at the bottom of the posting page under Instructions.

1. Click on your My Page. 2. In the fine print to the right of the Gardenweb logo near the center of the page, look for (and click on) Member Pages. 3. Click on Edit Your Personal Information, Page, and Preferences. 4. do whatever you want, then save.
