Broody chook

How can I keep a broody chook sitting when I move her to a separate cage? If I leave her to sit on eggs with all the other chooks she gets pushed out and other eggs get laid there and also eggs get broken. Whenever I try to move her, she stops sitting.

I used to have an old chook who was a very good Mum and didn't mind going into the other cage to sit but she eventually died of old age a few months ago - don't know how old she was but we inherited her before my son was born and he is now 12yrs old. She only ever laid an occassional egg in the later years but we kept her for her mothering abilities.

I hope someone has some ideas as this is the 3rd time this chook has gone broody and we need a few new chicks as replacements.
