Do you have a hybrid Bermuda lawn or a seeded variety? Seeded varieties tend to creep over a hybrid types. How low do you mow? How often? Do you use a reel mower? A rotary mower does not give you that clean cut and can cause your grass to give you that "strange pattern".

J.R. I just got my Zeiss HD2 progressive lenses. Suppose to have a much wider field of view and better vertical progression for computing and reading comfort. Actually turned out to have as small or smaller width and vertical progression than my three year old glasses. I have had similar results from all of my progressive lenses and I guess Zeiss feels that if they tell you something it will work. I am Taking them back within the first two hours and getting my money back. I really don't think they are as good as my old ones. I have had lots of progessives and there is no fit or other problem here. It is just the same or has worse limitations as all progressives and that is not what I was promised. ZEISS THESE ARE NOT AN IMPROVEMENT and $400.00 is a lot of money for no improvement.

my sister and I both have very bad astigmatism along with our very high myopia, I have not had surgery yet but she has. She had been using the mini mono with her contact lenses so they went with that in her surgery and she absolutely hates it, so much so that if she had the money she would want it changed. But she is stuck with it. She said it is not at all like it was with her contacts which she was fine with. I personally won't go that route either since I never had contacts like that either I know it would be bad for me to try to adjust too. Some people have very good results with it, which is great. What ever you decide on hope you have a very successful surgery.

I've been wearing progressives for many years and like them, except for the price, even with insurance-lol. Yes, things are blurry on the sides as that is normal. Unfortunately, progressives give you very small area of perfect vision and that is looking straight on. And if your eye measurements were done correctly, you won't have to move your head up or down to find that sweet spot when looking straight at something. If you opt for small frames, your perfect vision straight on will be MUCH less than with larger frames b/c obviously they don't have as much room with work with. It does take a bit of time to adjust, but, everyday you wear them, you will get comfortable. It took me a few minutes to adjust to my first pair of progressives (I had been wearing glasses since age 8, now 55). Stores like LensCrafters, Vision Works, and the like generally don't sell the better progressive lenses so I don't go there. My sis has worked in this field for 15+ years and that's what she told me. After doing some research, I found that to be true.
