My son and his wife live in Tokyo and we recently visited.
I am so happy to find a site showing pictures and names of plants I saw there.

Yeah, I'm kind of confused too. There are lots of veggies and herbs that would be great, but are you only interested in fruit? Also, can I ask if you're diabetic?

Your photos are the best I have so far been able to find on the web for Polygonum multiflora. I was hoping that it was the same plant as the "Russian lace vine" (possibly Polygonum aubertii) that I have here, but the leaves are different--the multiflora seems a bit more heart-shaped. On balance, and not being able to see any leaves or much detail other than the long spurs and double top and triple lower petals, I would still go with Linaria.
