Very nice! But the pic needs to be BIGGER. And it is a must that when you put pics on the forum of such beauties, they have to be identified so we can all be enabled into acquiring them too. :) I love the fluffy yellow one in the middle--could that be Citron du Cap? What about the maroon ones directly behind the yellow and orange waterlily? Actually, I already have Citron du Cap but I got it at an "end-of-the-season" clearance so it was planted too late in my garden to bloom. I think it was about to send up buds when our first cold weather hit and melted them all down like the Wicked Witch of the West. Very nice dahlias you posted. Keep 'em coming! Annabeth

Thanks Christie and Sunny. The hoop house is built over a couple of raised beds (plopped down on top of old tree stumps) holding my artichoke plants. There are some herbs tucked in to over winter. Pots of late tomatoes will be pulled inside to get a little extra mileage. Next year I'll put shade cloth over the top for a cooler climate for my chokes. Just to the left on the screen you can see my branch cucumber hut. I raised the bed using old roofing shingles held together with left over strap electric fence tape. Christie, those 'timbers' are rotten 1 x 10's from a collapsed carport. It's funky but works. I've raised as many areas as I can with anything I can find. Here's a picture taken in May that shows a few more raised beds. The few inches of height makes a huge difference in drainage here. Can't resist showing off this little guy... picture taken on May 22. That broccoli is a purple sprouting variety. I started it in February... expecting Spring broccoli. Now I'm waiting for Fall broccoli. It may never flower! I'll let you know what happens. I got a bit carried away here. :-) So much fun sharing... Thanks for again for your comments! Robin

Henry, how are you trying to post them? If it's is just one photo you can upload it right from your computer using the "image file to upload" box right ABOVE the post box. If you're trying to up load more than one you need to have a photo imaging site like photobucket and then cope the HTNL code from there and paste it into your post.
