Jamie, gorgeous plants. Thistledown has some real beautys. I ended up ordering another batch, but less than the first order. He even sent a freebie. Don't forget to leave feedback on Gardenwatchdog.com. He's a really nice guy, very generous, and honest. Your hoyas are good-looking, too. All your plants are. The first looks like a variegated Haworthia. I bought a similar plant on Ebay, same colors, thinner leaves, it's called Aloe 'wansley' variegated..very tiny. I'll have to snap pics. Thanks for turning me on to Thistledown. Let me know how your Fukien Tea works out. HD usually has them available. Do you know if it's evergreen or decidious? I love your CC..It's a true red. Walmart here I come. lol. Actually, I'd like a variegated CC, but they're hard to find. One seller on Ebay is selling a variegated 'cutting' for, are you ready? 49.99!! Right, I'll take 10, lol. Kim, why does Pilea freak out your b/f??? lol..that's hysterical. I'd understand if it was a 'Man-Eating-Plant,' lol, but a Pilea??? I just bought a variegated Euphorbia 'paddle plant.' The green are okay, but this guy is veryyyy pretty. Toni

Welcome Carol (a/k/a Mrs. Kirkus), I will agree with the other fine folks on this forum, it's about time you jumped in here. Every day it's Carol this-Carol that, Carol this-Carol that! No wait, that's not it, it's more like "My Wonderful Wife Carol" - that's how we've come to know you and you should be very proud - you sure got youself one fantastic hubby there gal, one whose made several of us very jealous on occasion (well, at least one, that'd be me!!! - so don't be surprised if one day, God willing-I win the lottery - I do show up on the front porch one day for that glass of lemonade). Oh Yeah, show us the pics, lots and lots of them. Sal PS: please tell me that beautiful crock is still safe and sound! Sorry to have spoken in LOUD WORDS that day but I had to stop him before he destroyed a true treausre. That is such a fantastic find.

Welcome, Dena along with Kitiera. It is so nice to have new peoplw join out madness. Yes, we are absolutely mad, whacko, lonney for gardening. Sometimes I think we live in dirt and grow only when watered. Some of us grow when even neglected. You have every right to be proud of your children. Sounds like you were a major influence in their lives. One of our mottos around here is "Carpe Car Kete" Grab those car keys and go to where the plants and friends are. I am waiting an invitation from Treefrog, Marion, Kat and others when they do another garden party and they know in advance and it is on a Sat or Sun. Of course for me it would have to be in the fall, winter or early spring. Can't handle the heat. *roflmao* A word of caution = be careful around Lisa *hug* or she will have you growing all manner of edibles both fruits and veggies. She has corupted almost all of us. I had to tell my hubby that I do not know how that varigated lemon made it into my yard. He laughted and said, Lisa made you do it - I know. He does enjoy the benefits though. Once again, welcome and we hope to hear more from you. Linda

Hi Julie, I'm a pretty new arrival too, and never really introduced myself- so hi everybody! I've been fairly active in the hydrangea forum, but not really anywhere else. It's awesome to have access to such great local gardening knowledge, which can be hard to come by online. I split my time between my home in Decatur and nursery in Palmetto- it's great to meet some neighbors! Porter
