Godetia Seed Pods
Godetias produce oblong pods about a 1/2" long and less than a 1/4" wide. They are dull dark brown when mature. They may not always split open to release their seeds. After you collect the pods you can press them between thumb and forefinger and the sides will split. Inside are many very small seeds. The seeds are dot size and are the same dull dark brown as the pods.

I think they are a lot of fun for the big and little kids alike. I find all kinds of little things at the dollar store at Christmas and in the toy isle. When I was a kid I played for hours in the garden with my farm animals and I still like to set up little corners with garden miniatures. My granddaughters live too far and are older now but I have neighbour kids and others grandkids to enjoy the fun. And I am still finding toys from my childhood everytime I dig the garden, Beegood. :) Ginny
