Where Can I Find Quality Seeds?

1) The best source you'll get for quality seeds for your area is a local vegetable gardener who grows out and saves seeds from year to year. You can be confident these seeds have acclimated to your climate and that they'll be hardy. Ask your friends, neighbors, family, colleagues, etc if they know of any gardeners in the area. If you have perennials that need dividing, offer to trade for some seeds.

2) You can also use the GardenWeb Seed Exchange to find local seeds by posting a request. You can also Search Members Exchange Lists.

3) You can go to The Garden Watchdog and search garden companies by state and/or by what they sell via the drop down menu, such as "Seeds:Vegetables". They are rated by customers.

4) Many forums such as this Vegetable Forum have an area for "Exchanges". You may make requests there as well as at the Seed Exchange Forum mentioned above.

Awww thanks, mmq... The photo was taken in the rain with my camera, so the trellises show as black but they're actually stained a deep green with a tinge of blue. We had a bit of a quandary trying to figure out how to "hide" the neighbor's house that sits practically in our yard - since we live in a historic district others have our same problem and we've gotten lots of compliments on them. One day they'll be covered in clematis and the arborvitae will grow in...I hope your DH is also inspired. :-)

NDI has the best. They are pricey but what wears out faster than their beauty is that you tire of them, may move and need them no longer in your new place. I just gave away (the lady loved them and thought they were brand new) five arrangements and one "tree" that I purchased from them in the early 1990s. I just tired of them but the new recipient was happy to have what she felt were near-new arrangements.

Definitely not high quality but we just bought our leather sectional from Jcpenneys and they have some that fit your description to a T. The ivory track arm style that sits lower to ground but comfortable and not weirdly on the floor as some of these new styles are was simply beautiful. I went for the light tan and its soft as butter and actually very well made. We simply love it. You could spend the money saved on other decorating items. Everyone that sees it compliments on it. Yes, I will get a host of texts after this commenting on Jcpenneys lower quality which I agree but this particular sectional that comes in TONS of optional colors was really my best purchase of 2011. loveeeeeee it.
