Love what you've got so far. What about one chair angled in the corner as your space looks a little tight. Love the coffee table you've chosen, but I'd determine/tape the furniture placement first so you can see what shape coffee table will work best. It's possible you might not want a coffee table and will just want to use multiple small tables instead. I'd get the arrangement all figured out before buying anything more.

Have you tried putting the couch on along the window wall? Then you could put two chairs facing it and the space would not look so cramped. The currently couch placement visually cuts off the room. The drapes are also a little dark.

Here's a chart to help with tables and lamps and their height. I'd put an accent chair in the corner and a small scale armchair in an "L" with the sofa. Then select a table that works with sofa and chair arm heights. I like your rug but it feels a bit small. Anything larger would interfere with the traffic path, so consider using a simple flokati under the coffee table to make it a focal piece. Don't get the coffee until all the furniture is in place. Also consider using a pair of ceramic garden stools instead. Or use a garden stool with the accent chair.

I would stick with the beige of your new couch. Were there any chairs to match? I would get at least one armchair in same color, style. The table you have chosen would look good with another small glass one next to the chair. I would add a arc floor lamp in the corner - maybe you can find a purple, silver and white lampshade for it. Some pillows in yellow, silver, fuschia and purple would look good. You could add white flokati pillows for good measure.

@Ann - I'l hold off on getting the coffee table since I'm still not 100% sure on the layout...either the sofa placed in the photo or against the wall.

@Super Organizing Solutions - Yes, i've tried the sofa on the wall previously (see photo). Someone said it was too tight against the wall so I decided to move it to where it is now. Do you like it better against the wall? My challenge with this space is that it's also high traffic, you need to walk pass this space to get to the kitchen and family room in the back. Stairs are opposite the window (see photo). Would having chairs opposite window get in the way?

@ashtonchic - yes, there was a matching chair, but it was too bulky to fit both pieces into this small space. Thx for the suggestions on lighting and cushions! Will definitely add them in once the layout is finalize :)

You've got some great windows there, with beautiful natural light streaming in. Before you call the room finished, I suggest taking advantage of that light, as well as wall space, and add the final personalization touch of artwork.

I've put White on White on the wall to give you an idea of how artwork can look. Something with green in it, as well, would give a push me/pull me contrast with the deep maroon of the curtains.
