Bear we saw on the way home yesterday. It looked like he was counting cars.
He was less than a mile from our house. Funny how we never thought of bears in FL before we started wintering down here.

No actual bear photos, except from zoos. Although at one point we had a bear on our front deck, and at another point our neighbor shot a bear that was repeated raiding his trash cans.

I do have this picture of my brother from a trip to the Smokey Mountains National Park where he took part in a nature program put on by the park rangers about the important animals in the local ecosystem.

Cool bears, I love the one counting cars!!

Here's a bear but this one is a wildlife refuge in West Yellowstone. They have bears that have been removed from the wild for getting too close to human food sources.
