Well, from what I've read, they really do work. Either I didn't get damping off, or it worked. I think I did get it on the one seedling, as I saw fungus growing at it's base. I sprinkled more cinnamon and then did the garlic remedy, too. To begin with, I sprinkled cinnamon all over the top of the soil before the seeds germinated and added more here and there after that when I thought it might need it. For the garlic, I did what Doug Green on his simplegiftsfarm.com said to do. Crush several garlic cloves into about an inch or so of simmering water in a saucepan. Simmer for a few minutes and then cool to lukewarm and water your seedlings with it. It stinks, but worked for me =:) Garlic is a natural fungicide.

Stacy: It all depends on the chocolate you use. Some white chocolates become hard and brittle when cooled again and so will your sauce. Some chocolates combined with the cream and cheese will stay smooth and you'll have a cool -- but thicker -- sauce to use. A little soft heat will make it pourable again. Joe

Oooh, I like that! Being 5'1.5" makes me vertically challenged for all things! At my last house, my micro was in an upper and the bottom rim was at my chin....I couldn't see ANYTHING inside it! This time my micro is a drawer so I can look down :) Need at least 2-3 stepstools all over my house. I should have one strapped to my back all day.

You'll be pulling those for many years to come, I planted one(from Annie's) & it loved my garden, it grew huge & elbowed aside all that stood in it's way. I loved it but it wasn't right for my small garden, I still pull seedlings from time to time. My summers are dry but not the winter & spring. Beautiful plant.
