We will be having a new entry door installed. Do you guys recommend the compression type weatherstripping or the metal J-Channel interlocking weatherstripping?
It's my understanding that the metal option seals well without any closure resistance. That is until the house settles or temperature changes deform the door or jamb.
Compression weatherstripping doesn't last as long, but is easier to replace.
What would you install?
