Don't forget the 'Sun visor' or slant the roof. In any case make sure the plants don't get misted otherwise they'll get a grey film in time. Keeping the unevaporated water on the ground prevents that. The wood stays wet all the time and probably will fall apart somewhere between 5 and 10 years. I know of some one who built one out of plastic and fiberglass materials. Can't take a picture of it but this thing is blasting out a stream of cool air that is just as good or better than any swamp cooler. Das is alles, good luck building it. Nick

I thought I'd answer my own question in case anyone has it in the future. The new cylinder head when ordered from B&S website (which actually beat most website prices & automatically upgraded me to the newer version) comes with everything included in the cylinder head box on the IPL. In the case of my V-Twin ELS, it comes with the Head, Gaskets, Rocker, Valves & Springs (already installed). I finally got the project done. Opened the crank-case, found the missing push rod (slightly chewed, but not bad), slapped it back together (with new gasket), installed new head, adjusted valves, tried it, pulled it all back apart again when I thought I messed up the governor rod (I just put the throttle cable in the wrong hole! ARRRGH!), put it back together again & Voila! Ran it for 3 hours last night mowing & it purred nicely. I'll have to pay attention to those cooling fins in the future. What a pain to bury these under a metal covering, & then again with a plastic covering. I guess it's to make the engine look bigger than it actually is.

Charlie, Don't believe so. What will you use for a on/off switch? The power adapter has two wires. What will your neutral wire? Interesting experiment. Need water pressure though. Match the amps to what the inrush solenoid needs to operates. GFI. Let us know how it goes. Aloha

I assume you have separate transformers for heating and cooling systems. If that is the case then remove the jumper between the R and Rc terminals. Connect the red wire for heating to R and the red wire for cooling to Rc. I think the rest of the wiring will work as long as you don't mix your similar color wires. You also have to program the thermostat for the correct heating and cooling system.
