Jodi's snake reminds me of visiting the Australian reptile park a number of years ago.

Right as we arrived we were told that they would be feeding Charlie the Crocodile in a few minutes so we should go directly there.

Here's Charlie, who is nearly 20 feet long:

Feeding him involved about 4 handlers entering his enclosure, one of whom had a whole chicken carcass attached to a ten-foot pole. They approached the pool holding the chicken over the water. Charlie moved toward it, and lunged for it, opening his mouth, and he hit the chicken with his snout, and knocked it into the water behind him. He paused for just a instant, seemingly wondering where his chicken had gone, and then proceeded to launch himself forward out of the water toward the handler as if he were thinking, "I'll bet you taste like chicken."

It then became clear why there were four handlers, as two of them distracted Charlie, while the one with the pole quickly backpedaled away, and the fourth fished the chicken out of the water. They tossed the chicken on the ground in front of Charlie, he grabbed it and ate it seemingly in a single bite, and turned and returned to his pool.

Boy, I don't know what that other goose did but he or she sure is getting a tongue lashing by the looks. LOL

Jodi....I've "never" seen anything like that! Sooooooooo COOL! :0) I wish you'd tried a sip just to tell us about it...

kittywhiskers....I just hope their not a mated pair! :0)

Nicole, I read a little about the Snake Wine and apparently it's disappointingly mild ... boring in fact ... certainly not worth the high asking price. By the way, they supposedly only use venomous snakes for the wine. The process renders all poison neutral.

And look at the bottle plus another one where the scorpion has fallen out of the snake's mouth.

Jodi, I was wondering if it was like putting a "ship in a bottle". Do they put the snake in there and then fix the scorpion in it's mouth?

Maybe I should look at your link. It might have the answer there. Anyway, very cool pictures.

And I love the cardinal pictures too. All the pictures today are wonderful, as usual.

Murraysmom, not sure what the process is but it's got to be easier than putting a ship in a bottle. :-)
