And another dog. This is "Storm" my nephew's dog. She was a 4 month old puppy when my nephew found her shivering on his porch during a nasty thunderstorm. They heard the car that dumped her off. She has turned out to be the perfect companion for my nephew who has serious health issues.

But Wanda, where are the birds?? :-) That's okayÂit's a beautiful picture, and I just happen to have a bird to contibute today: the elusive flicker (along with the ubiquitous chickadee). Taken yesterday.

The picture is quite old. The little girl, Lori (in yellow) was just a few month old. She was born the 17. of October, and the snow was that winter. Lori is now 30 years old. :) Moni

I have no idea what that crazy bird is. I just scoured my collection of photos I took at the San Diego Wild Animal Park last summer trying to find another picture of it and nothing. I think it is some kind of African bird. It had just gotten out of the water so it was fluffing its feathers when I took the picture. Wait until you see tomorrow's photo. It is one of the oddest birds I've ever seen. I will have to post two pictures just so you don't think I created it (alisande!) LOL Jodi-
